2019 Information Exchange   

The 2019 HSCB Information Exchange will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Macomb Intermediate School District, 44001 Garfield, Clinton Township, MI 48038.  The registration form is posted here. 

REGISTRATION PROCESS (There is a new registration process this year. You must first create an online account before registering.)
How To Register 

(Note: Each person must register separately. There is no group registration.)

IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED WITH THE MISD, COMPLETE THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

1.Go to: www.misd.net

2.Click on the “Course Offerings” tab on the top menu.

3.Click on “Complete List of Courses/Events.”

4.A screen will pop up indicating that everyone needs to have an account with the MISD before they are able to register.

5.Click on “Create Account” tab near the top of the page on the right.

6.Follow the prompts to create an account. For the “District” box, if you are employed at an agency and not a school, click on the drop down list, and select “Employer if Other or N/A” for both the District and School name.  Use the next two spaces to record your Employer (your agency) and Position (your job title). Leave “Grade taught” and “Content area” blank. Then click on the “Agreed and create account” link.  Then click on “Continue.”

7.Once registered, click on the “Home” tab and the courses will be displayed at the bottom of the page.  

8. Click on the calendar drop down list and select “October 24, 2019” for both the start and end dates. Select "Information Exchange."

9. Select one session in one or more of the four tracks (A, B, C, D). If you select a session and then change your mind, the program only let you select another session in that time frame. If you want to erase any choice, you will need to refresh the page and start again. 

10.Click on “Add to Cart”

11.Another screen will automatically pop up, then enter your Password.  When the checkout process is complete you will see a confirmation screen.  You will be able to print your receipt. You will also receive an email confirmation of your course enrollment. Maintain this document as the email registration confirmation will be a single email that contains information for all the courses you enrolled.


IF YOU HAVE AN EXISTING ACCOUNT WITH THE MISD, COMPLETE THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

1.Go to: www.misd.net

2.Click on the “Course Offerings” tab on the top menu.

3.Click on “Complete List of Courses/Events.”

4.Log in with your name and password in the upper right hand corner.  Then click on “Browse    courses.”

5. Click on the calendar drop down list and select “October 24, 2019” for both the start and end    dates. Then click on "Information Exchange." 

6.Select one session in one or more of the four tracks (A, B, C, D).

7.Click on “Add to Cart”

8.Click on “Checkout” located by the Information Exchange listing. 

9. Click on “Proceed to next step. 

10.Your registration confirmation will be on screen. You will be able to print your receipt. You will also receive an email confirmation of your course enrollment. Maintain this document as the email registration confirmation will be a single email that contains information for all the courses you enrolled.If you need further assistance in registering, there is an online guide posted on the “Complete list of Courses” page as “MISD Event Registration Participant Guide.”

Agency Displays - Agency displays will be available in Rooms 100A and 100B from 8:30 A.M. - 2:45 P.M. Participants are encouraged to browse the displays before, between, and after sessions.

Lunch - Lunch is on your own from 11:45 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.  A list of nearby restaurants will be available at the sign-in table.

Evaluation Forms - Participants are expected to sign in at the registration table and each breakout session and turn in an evaluation form.

Certificates of Attendance - Certificates will be available at the end of each breakout session.  Turn in your completed breakout session evaluation form to receive your certificate.  Certificates will not be given to anyone not signed in for that session.
